I love that this course explains concepts in React in a very thorough, in-depth way, and it does so incrementally. You learn a lot about how things work behind the scenes, and very importantly, WHY they work the way they do. I loved the interactivity in the lessons and challenges. Fantastic course!

I've been working with React & Typescript for a couple of years now and I wanted to catch-up with some of its new features. This course surprised me with the tons of up-to-date information, hands-on exercises, and easy to understand explanations. I've learned a bunch of new stuff!

If you're at a fresh start or have been dabbling and are ready to bring it all together, this course is fantastic. They hammer the fundamentals so you really get to understand what React is about, and make sure it sticks with challenges at each step. It helps that the UX is slick and easy to look at too. I feel like I'm writing ad copy but it really is this good!

Even as a developer who's been working with React for the past six or so years I found the course extremely valuable and informative and actually learned a lot of new stuff about React while also solidifying (and sometimes invalidating) my previous knowledge. The course is nicely done, it has both videos and transcripts, it's entertaining, there are interactive diagrams that help understand complex concepts, and the exercises are actually interesting to do. Good stuff

Before this course, hooks were concepts that I would work around. They were obstacles that I had to overcome to produce the result I wanted. react.gg has changed that for me - they are no longer obstacles, they are tools. The knowledge this course has given me has completely reframed my mental model of React and I'm thankful to the team at ui.dev for producing it.

Great introduction into react. I'm the type of person who likes to just read just enough to get started, and then brute force my way through learning, and I was finding that that style of learning wasn't gelling really well with react. This course is great at teaching how react works as a whole, that you might miss from just looking at a few sample applications. It's shown me what to look for and how to approach problems in a more react-centric way. Highly recommned this course to anyone wanting to update their understand of JS and React.

This course has some of the best learning approaches by far. I came into this course without any previous knowledge of React and I still managed to understand all the topics. If you're looking into learning React, this might be one of the best courses out there. Thank you so much 🙏

The course is simply amazing. It is even better than I imagined when I first saw the announcement. It has definitely improved my confidence in working with React. The explanations are thorough but not boring, the exercises are fun and well-structured, and you get to play with a bunch of Web APIs along the way.

This course will skill up any person aside from the React Core team. I appreciate that I don't have to spend wasted learning minutes setting up a repo. I can just open a browser and pick up where I left off. I recommend this to everyone, no matter your seniority level in React.

I'm mostly a backend/AI software engineer (used to work at Google, lots of C++ and python) but not a frontend person, using this course to learn about React/JS. I'm most of the way through the course now, and it was great. I'm fairly new to React, and had read several books etc, but this clarified things much more than my reading did. Also, although it starts out easy, the course ramps up in difficulty, so I think there is something for everyone here.Since I'm new to JS in general, so learning about some of the browser APIs was also useful for me. The main (positive) surprise I had was that often the videos went too fast for me in places and I had to rewind and rewatch sections, pausing to give me time to think (normally I find videos too slow and always watch at 2x, but on this one I only did 1.5x or 2x in a few places and 1x more often since it was already running at a good pace). I liked it that it wasn't full of slow, boring, fluff content. I had to stay engaged the whole time.The videos are also delivered in written-out text form, with slightly different content, and that was really useful to give me more time to process. Great idea to include both. The course is highly interactive, and this is a great help for learning. I found myself pretty humbled by most of the coding challenges, since I usually was failing at least one test, and often had to look at the hints to get unstuck. That's a great sign that I had a lot to learn and that it's sufficiently challenging.

i recently completed the react.gg course and its hands down the best online course ive ever taken. its very clear that a lot of thought has gone into every little detail of this course and it really worked. i feel very privileged to learn react this way.

The way that challenges are continuously used in this course with the newly implemented ui.dev challenge software is outstanding! Being able to watch a video, read the same content, do a quiz question, and then practice with challenges that give you instant feedback is unmatched. Thank you, ui.dev!

I recently completed the React course on react.gg and found it to be fantastic! react.gg is incredible. The attention to detail and the way in which the team has been able to deconstruct even the most complex aspects of React into a fun, easily consumable package is inspiring. By far the best way to learn React and I'd go as far as to say it's the best online course I've ever seen.
